LEGO Star Wars

Who loves Lego’s? I do and my dad. Well I like building them for my dad.

My family has been buying the Star Wars Lego’s every Christmas it is just a thing that happens and has in a way become a tradition, when I think about it. My dad and little brother receive them as gifts and my mom used to build them, now I get to be the one building them and for me it isn’t Christmas without building at least one along with other major factors but this one I look forward to and enjoy so much. Still not as much as my dad and I’s Tran-Siberian Orchestra concert we attend every Christmas together, but still very close.

This year I was putting together my dads Christmas present, The Star Wars Clone Scout Walker 20th Anniversary edition Lego, then to find out it was missing a bag of pieces. Let me tell you how upset we all were. These are limited Lego’s are limited edition so only so many were made not like we can just exchange it and guess what to our huge surprise they are sold out! Now my dad is reaching out to Lego and trying to see if they will send the pieces. Fingers crossed !!

Something that is super cool though while we wait, is when you open the builder’s manual before you get to the building instructions, the first page is the yellow worded story intro exactly like it is displayed on the screen when you watch the movies. The following pages display the original version with the features compared to the upgraded version with the new features of the space craft including with which the year it was created. Then the last page has the movie scene explaining how it was used in the series. I cannot tell you how cool and amazing just the part of the booklet is.

So not being able to build it sucks but hopefully we will hear soon about what they can do to help. In the mean time I was able to build the second one my dad received for Christmas and added some effects to make it that much better.
