Today while at work a patient told me his daughter and son in law received wonderful news. The news being the boy they adopted a year and a half ago was getting a baby brother soon, but in the best way. This is not going to be just another little brother, this little brother was biological. The agency or whoever was letting the same woman’s children stay together in one home. The family that fell in love with the first child, giving him what he needs and more while also having the opportunity to provide in similar manners for his, just coming into the world, biological little brother together as brothers in one home.
This made my heart melt, I felt almost literally in my chest while at work. It reminded me of one of those hallmark movies, where everything turns out perfect and in the way it’s meant to be. That I truly believe happens in life. If it is meant to be it will be. I also believe everything happens for a reason. How happy for the two boys and the family get this amazing gift and so close to the holidays, it just makes you think. It’s literally a dream and fairytale come true. I could not be more happy and proud that these things still occur in the world today. That I get to hear and witness this work of love. With the times as they are. I cling to and hope that I may be able to continue to see these things play out before my eyes. It’s extraordinarily inspiring. It brings me happiness and I don’t want to stop observing this ever.
